Viña Tumuñan was founded in 2012 in the mountains of the upper Colchagua valley by owner of Tumuñan Lodge, William Evelyn.
Tumuñan- “place to find oneself” in the Mapudungun language is beautiful and sometimes mysterious remote area with a unique terroir.
The goal is to create wines which are a reflection of this terroir as well as conserve the environment and eco-system in which the vines are grown. We use organic and biodynamic techniques and viticulture is done all by hand. Softer tannins, dark fruit, good acidity and excellent ageing potential characterize our Cabernet Sauvignon.
We have a lodge, restaurant, wine shop and walking trails where visitors can appreciate the majesty of the Andes with a delicious glass of wine in hand!
